Amber Humphrey

Senior Brand Consultant

Amber brings a wealth of passion and experience to her role at Gifted, blending a naturally strategic approach with a solid background in design to deliver creative solutions across a broad scope of disciplines. Working in partnership with Founder & Director Andy Whiteside, she’s been pivotal in growing our business from startup to a flourishing agency, and provides consultancy to all of our clients and their projects.

Before graduating from the London College of Fashion with First Class Honours, she joined the PR & Marketing teams of numerous luxury lingerie labels, including one year at Agent Provocateur, before meeting Andy in the London agency headquarters of Luxury Branding following completion of her degree. Here she managed international accounts including LUX* Resorts & Hotels, Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces and SWAN – implementing an entirely new brand identity and re-launch campaign. From concept to delivery, she was the sole producer of their two-week advertising shoot in Mauritius, and managed the production of their television commercial shot on location in Cape Town.

Realising a lifetime’s ambition, she then moved to the creative team at Stella McCartney, collaborating with art directors and graphic, digital and motion designers, to produce all visual content for the brand. Responsible for special projects, including the concept and production of Paris Fashion Week invites, she also focussed on post-production, artwork development and print production for campaign collateral across the ready-to-wear, kids, Adidas by Stella McCartney, lingerie and swimwear lines.

Approached by forpeople – one of London’s leading multi-disciplinary creative agencies – Amber then took a bespoke role providing consultancy to the two founding directors. Bridging creative, client servicing and commercial remits, she led a wide variety of projects, helping to develop the agency during its next phase of growth.

As the daughter of a lithographic printmaker, Amber gravitates to the tactile quality of paper and print and is a self-confessed travel, lifestyle and fashion magazine junkie. Her accommodation of choice is usually to be found in a boutique hotel that combines great location with great design, with personal favourites to date including Babylonstoren in South Africa and Porto’s Rosa et al Townhouse.

Amber is constantly updating her ‘to do’ list of places to stay, eat and drink around the world, with the travel notes and wish list on her phone currently standing at more than two thousand venues, experiences and destinations. Next stop, Japan.
